Parent Partnership

It's good to talk

I'm someone you can speak to!

Parents are my customers and therefore their input into my childcare provision is extremely important. I welcome feedback and it is positively encouraged as I feel that this helps us to improve our setting and in turn help you.

A comments form and box is available to use at any time if you, or your children, have any ideas, suggestions, compliments or grievances you would like to raise. We hope you bring this to our attention as soon as possible so we can make our child care work for you!

I record your child’s time with us in a daily-diary which is free to go home with parents each evening. This will record their activities, achievements and future goals (linking to the government directive EYFS) and also lots of pictures. We encourage parents to add to this diary their own comments, pictures and to share information. This helps to support your child and build a positive partnership and a record of your child’s development whilst at our setting; it makes a great keep-sake too! In addition I have a parent’s notice board to keep you up-to-date with news about the setting.

Partnership is a two-way process and I like all parents to respect my practices, policies and procedures which in turn help me to ensure the provision of care runs smoothly for everyone. I request that parents keep me informed about any allergies, illness or medication their child may have or other circumstances that may affect your child. All records and correspondence is completely confidential.
